About Sugar
Captain Harris “Sugar” Smith was born in Alexander, Exuma.
Though Harris may be short in stature, he is extraordinary at sailing and diving. He is quiet but can command his ship and crew. Harris posses’ excellent customer service skills and demonstrates true professionalism. He is dependable, reliable, a great cook and great entertainer of music and dance.
A love for the sea
Captain Sugar's love for the sea began at the early age of eight years old, when he accompanied his great uncle transporting residents back and forth between Alexander and Barretarre.
Growing up, he develop his craft and became one of the best free divers and tour operators in Exuma today. He has his Captain License as well as his STWS Certification.
Captain for life
Today, Harris dream of eco-tourism has flourish and presently his sons Horace Jr. and Montel are following him in the business of Sugar Adventure Company.
